How to create and set up your unique tracking page

Three tips!

Simple tools. There are cost-effective and user-friendly web-based tools. It becomes easy and fun to update the content. An example of such a recommended tool is Canva.

Experiment. Experiment with different settings, try different messages and images. Sometimes the unexpected can turn out really well.

Book consultation. If you have activated the Shipping Department, consultation is included. You can get advice and tips on how to approach your tracking page. Book here.

Follow these steps to learn more about your unique tracking page.

In the left menu, click on Company settings and then on Unique tracking page. You have now reached the settings to create your own tracking page.

To be able to change, update, preview, and activate the page, you must click on Activate.

Save your changes by clicking the Save button.

To see your changes and updates, click on Preview. A window will open. To close the preview window, scroll to the bottom and click Close Preview.

Your tracking page's URL can contain any text, preferably your company name. Write it in the Page URL row.
Example:

Use Shiplink's booking number and/or your own reference in the URL to be able to track the shipment.

|| ☝️We recommend having Shiplink's booking number active to ensure functionality. If you deactivate both options, your customer cannot see the tracking.

Under Basic settings, you can easily change the appearance of texts, colors, and whether the boxes should have shadows or not.

Add your logo by dragging and dropping the image file into the box. Supported file formats are: jpg, png, and gif (the file must not exceed 2 MB).

Enter a URL/link. Clicking on the logo will link to this website.

Add a headline at the top of the page, below the logo.

Text settings. By entering symbols/characters when writing the text, you change the appearance of the text, for example, whether it should be larger, bold, or italic (not the font, you do that in step 7).

|| 👉 Example: If you write text and enter an * (asterisk) at the beginning and end of your text, your text becomes italic. Like this: Your text becomes italic

Add a footer title at the bottom of the page. Just like the headline at the top, you can use symbols to change the appearance of the text.

By choosing Hide Shiplink's logo or Show Shiplink's logo, you can choose whether you want to display Shiplink's logo or not at the bottom of the page.

Add images by dragging and dropping the image file into the box. Supported file formats are: jpg, png, and gif (the file must not exceed 2 MB).

Enter a URL/link. Clicking on the image will link to this website.

Don't forget to save when you are done with your changes.
