Access Scopes in Your Shopify

Access scopes in your Shopify

"Access scopes" determine which data the Shiplink app has access to in order to transfer only the data relevant to shipment booking. This is crucial for the integration's functionality. If access scopes need to be added or removed in your integration, follow the instructions below:

In your Shopify admin panel, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels. Click on Develop apps.

Select the Shiplink application, the one you created when setting up the integration with Shiplink. section.

Click on Configuration. Then click Edit in the Admin API integration section.

Add or remove access scopes by checking or unchecking the respective access scope.

Check these new scopes:
read_locations
read_publications
write_publications
read_returns

Click on Save to save your changes. Done!

Here is a list of all scopes that must be checked for the integration to function properly:
read_customers
read_fulfillments
write_fulfillments
read_inventory
write_inventory
read_locations
read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders
write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders

read_returns
read_shopify_payments_accounts
