Access scopes in your Shopify


"Access scopes" determine which data the Shiplink app has access to in order to transfer only the data relevant to shipment booking. This is crucial for the integration's functionality. If access scopes need to be added or removed in your integration, follow the instructions below:


  1. In your Shopify admin panel, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels. Click on Develop apps.


  1. Select the Shiplink application, the one you created when setting up the integration with Shiplink. section.


  1. Click on Configuration. Then click Edit in the Admin API integration section.


  1. Add or remove access scopes by checking or unchecking the respective access scope.


  1. Check these new scopes:

read_locations

read_publications

write_publications

read_returns


  1. Click on Save to save your changes. Done!


Here is a list of all scopes that must be checked for the integration to function properly:

read_customers

read_fulfillments

write_fulfillments

read_inventory

write_inventory

read_locations

read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders

write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders
