Important knowledge for you as a recipient! 🚛

  • Unmanned company as recipient Very important

If the recipient is a company that is not staffed Monday to Friday between 8-17 or that the recipient needs a notification/call before delivery, then one or more options are required: Notification and/or Delivery notice. Notification means that the carrier contacts and books a day for delivery with the recipient. Delivery notification means that the driver calls approx. 30 minutes before delivery. Warehouse rent is added after 4 days. A Swedish +46 mobile number for the recipient is required.

  • Delivery to private person ++ Very important ++

Delivery to a private person includes some form of notification where the carrier and receiver decide on a specific day, or that the goods are picked up from the terminal. This is always included in the price of the shipping service.

  • Delivery to a company address ++ Very important ++

When the recipient is a company, you must enter a company name (not a personal name) when booking a shipment. For the address to be considered a company address, the company name must be clearly signposted and visible from the street or road, and the address must not be a residential address. This applies regardless of whether the company is located in a shop, office space or basement. If signage is missing, the driver cannot find the address and the delivery cannot be made - the goods will then be sent back to the terminal. If the company is registered at a residential address, the shipment must be booked as a delivery to a private address.

  • Receipt in connection with delivery Very important

Upon delivery, the recipient is required to provide a receipt for the delivery. Receipt without remark means that the goods are undamaged in appearance and the delivery is complete. To read more about the receipt at delivery click here There you can download a very useful checklist of what must be examined before acknowledging goods. Set it up in the office / warehouse and share with colleagues and customers, so you always know what applies.

  • Delivery time

Delivery usually takes place on weekdays between 8 am - 5 pm. Local deviations may occur.

  • Get contacted in connection to the delivery

There are two options for the recipient to be contacted when delivering to companies: Notification and Delivery Notice. Notification means that the carrier books a day for delivery together with the recipient. Delivery notification means that the driver calls approx. 30 minutes before the delivery is due. The options must be made in connection with the booking of the shipment.

  • Delivery does not include carrying assistance

The driver comes with the necessary aids to get your goods from the truck or van. Carrying assistance, for example, stairs, lifts or to another place at the address is not included in the service.

  • Potentially missed or delayed delivery

No specific day or time can be guaranteed for delivery under any circumstances. All dates and times for delivery are estimated as external factors can affect the planning of the delivery and thus be delayed or completely prevented.
