Option: Choose Delivery Point

Option to Choose Delivery Point

Sometimes your customer wants to pick up their package at a different delivery point than the one automatically selected by default. That's why we've now updated Shiplink with a solution that allows you to choose which delivery point your package should be sent to directly in the shipping booking process.

How should you use the option?

  • Use the option to choose a delivery point when the recipient has explicitly requested a specific delivery point.
  • By default, the package is automatically sent to the delivery point closest to the midpoint of the postal code.

How to add the option - step by step

  1. Fill in the shipping details as usual in the calculation.

  1. Select the Delivery Point Parcel service. When you click on the service, the options will be displayed.

  1. Activate the Choose Delivery Point option and select the delivery point that the customer desires.

  1. Complete the booking – done! The parcel will be sent to the selected delivery point, and your customer will receive the service they have requested.

Good to know about the option

  • If a delivery point is full and cannot accept more goods, the parcel may end up at another nearby delivery point.
  • The option is made in the first step of the shipping booking and cannot be added after the booking has been completed and confirmed.
  • If anything needs to be adjusted after the booking has been made, please contact customer service.

Included in Freight Department – more than just an option

The Select Delivery Point option is included when you upgrade your company account to Freight Department – for only 59 SEK/week.

No notice period or commitment period. You only pay for the weeks you actually book shipping – no weekly costs when you don't book.
