Earliest pickup date

Earliest Pickup Date

No pick up date is guaranteed
When choosing your pick up date, you are choosing the earliest date of which your goods can get picked up. Due to external factors which may affect your pick-up (such as: greater quantity of pickups, sickness, traffic conditions, vehicle problems, etc.), no date is guaranteed.

Time of pickup
Pickups are normally scheduled between 12 p.m - 5 p.m on weekdays. Local deviations may result in pick-ups before 12 p.m.

Signage at pickup address
Make sure to clearly signage your business name at the pick-up address. It helps the driver to find you quicker. Due to their tight schedules, and lack of telephone numbers, it is not always possible for them to call the contact person at the time of the pick-up.

Pickups at other businesses, and quittance
Shiplink, and our transporters, only pick up goods from manned business addresses. Agreements beyond these terms are at the customers own risk. At the moment of pick-up, you have to make sure that the driver signs your transmission list. That is your quittance that your goods have been picked up by a third party. Without that quittance, you won't be able to receive a compensation if the goods is lost.

Not picked up
If your pickup is not collected, it will be rescheduled for the following day, or an other day that suits the sender.

No pickup - drop off goods at terminal
If this option is selected, there will be no pickup at the sender's location. Instead, the goods must be dropped off by the sender at the correct shipping company's terminal. Always check that the goods are dropped off at the correct location to avoid delays or mishandling.

A compilation of surcharges you can find here: Post-billing, additional costs and fees.
