What is a business address?

For an address to be considered a business address, it needs to be staffed during business hours and have clear signage with the business name, visible from the street or road. This applies regardless of whether it is a shop, office, workshop or basement.

Carriers have tightened their controls on the terms and conditions for deliveries to companies registered at private addresses. If the recipient is a company but the address is in practice a residence (e.g. apartment or villa), the shipment must be booked as a private address. Otherwise, it may lead to late charges or delays.
